Welcome to the Indio General Plan website
The City of Indio is embarking on the final phase of the General Plan Update. This twelve-month process will refine the depth and clarity of Plan content, and conduct the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) process and public review process. The General Plan is a policy document required by California law that provides long-range guidance for land use, development, transportation, open space conservation, affordable housing, economic development, community services and other topics. The Indio General Plan update will serve as the City's blueprint for future development and decision-making.
